All American Raffle Info & Sign-up

Howdy!

Here is an update on our 2011 All American Raffle and an opportunity to sign up to sell tickets in front of local businesses.

Sales Update:
Since the beginning of the All American Raffle 370 tickets have been turned in to me.  I am sure there are many more tickets out there that have not been turned in yet. This is near our break even point with 25 more days to sell.

We did not announce this at the last business meeting, because we did not have it yet, but Lancaster’s has give the club two gift certificates we will award to high sales achievers.  We are waiting on one more prize from another local business for a total of three prizes for high sales.  Thank-you Lancaster!!!

We have many places to sell tickets.  Please look at the list below and choose the places and days you would like and email me back with your choices.  I will forward an updated list out on Wednesday next week.

When you arrive at each of these business please let the manager in charge know you are there and who you represent.  Please let them know when you leave and thank them for allowing us to sell our raffle in front of their business.

Whenever you get the chance sell to police officers, firefighters, linemen, plumbers, construction contractors, etc.  I have not had one of them say no, yet.

Feel free to drop into the local fire stations after 5pm and call on the firemen, as long as they are not going out on a call.  They work 3 24 hour shifts, so if you can go three consecutive days you will see most of the men that work in that station.

Finally:  The Parker Bow company has taken notice of what we are doing with this fund raising raffle and Mr. Hinton has been asked to help them put together a template and web page to help other organizations use Parker’s promotional products, like we have, to raise funds. Our club could be featured in a case study for other groups nationally as a fundraising model.  Lets make this as big a success as we can this year!

Thanks to everyone for all of your effort to make this project a success!!!

Anyone who needs help, please call me or my Dad.
