Just a reminder that the archery club will be setting up a booth at the Brazos Animal Shelter’s Wiener Fest this Saturday (October 22nd) from 7 am to 3 pm or so. We will sell raffle tickets and promote both 4-H and our club at this event. I need people to sign up to help run it. The shifts will be:
7:00 to 8:30 am
8:30 to 10 am
10 to 11:30 am
11:30 to 1 pm
1 to 3 pm
Please let me know if you can do any of these shifts. It is a super fun event for the family to support the animal shelter! We will also need a table and a pop up tent for this so let me know if you have one we could use asap. As I will be setting up at 5:45 am on Saturday, I will need to get it either Thursday or Friday.
We will have a by law revision meeting on October 23, 2011 from 3 to 6 pm at Gander Mountain meeting room. I encourage you to come to this meeting so that you can have an input on what is decided. We will make changes to the bylaws and vote on them at the October monthly meeting next week.
Also, the raffle drawing is coming up soon….October 31, 2011. Paul Hinton (our 1st VP) will need to collect all tickets (sold and unsold) by then so please get with him (via the contact officer tab on the site) to give those to him.
We also still need volunteers for Bass Classic, so please see my past e-mail or the site about that.
