Brazos County 4-H Food Workshop

Are You Up For The Challenge?

The Brazos County Food Workshop location has been changed to Mitchell Elementary School Cafeteria for this Sunday afternoon, November 27.  The address is 2500 Austin’s Colony Parkway in Bryan.  Many thanks to Janet Kirkpatrick and Principal Karen Kasper for allowing the use of Mitchell on such a short notice!

Food Challenge, that is. How innovative can you be with 5 ingredients or less?  Can you design a recipe from a list of 15 items? Can you figure out the nutrition and cost per serving? Do you know how to prepare jicama?

Be a part of this year’s County Foods Workshop and learn about all the components of a Food Challenge Competition.  We will cover: ingredients, food safety, nutrition, food presentation, food preparation, food costs, and more.
