The 4-H Archery Club was very busy in March 2012 in archery events and outside events! The club has practice every Saturday at 8:30am-11:00 and we shoot at Gander Mt every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Anyone can come. It’s a bunch of fun!

March 2-4, 2012:

Melanie Sera and Max Sera competed in the 43rd Annual U.S. Indoor National Archery Championship at the TAMU Rec. Center. Melanie shot her all time high in her FITA with a score of 1024 and in her JOAD she shot a 504. Nationals is split into several different tournaments spread out across the nations so that more people are able to participate with less travel, so there are placements for both the College Station shoot and all the National Tournaments combined. Melanie placed 3rd in JOAD and 2nd in FITA at the College Station tournament and 14th in JOAD and 13th in FITA in the national ranking. Coach Max shot the FITA line in Senior Male Recurve and placed 14th in the national ranking.
