Saturday Practice 2019-03-16

We will have practice this Saturday, March 16, from 8:30-11:30 AM at the Brazos County Archery Club. We will not offer a safety and basics session at this practice.

This practice will be the last chance for shooters to get a score for the postal league competition, so we will set up bales for those shooters who only need one score (or two for juniors), and we will otherwise focus on indoor distances for those shooters who will be attending the Indoor State competition next week.

No Saturday Practice 2019-03-09

Due to the TBOT (Traditional Bowhunters of Texas) shoot at BCAC on Saturday, we will not have practice this Saturday, March 9. If you shoot barebow, you’re welcome to head out there and join in the shoot. Fees are $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers, and I think kids 12 and under shoot free (maybe just with a paying adult). Gates open at 8, and scores have to be turned in my 3:00 p.m., but groups of 4 can start shooting at any time they are ready.

BCAC is also hosting their monthly shoot on Sunday, March 10. If it’s your first club shoot, you can shoot for free; otherwise, members are $10, and one kid (12 and under) shoots free with each paying adult.

Let me know if you have any questions! Enjoy your weekend and your spring break!
